Dr. Williams completed his adult psychiatry residency with LSU/Ochsner and has subsequently completed fellowships in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. He is a fellow in the American Society of Addiction Medicine and currently a Gratis Associate Professor with LSU in the department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Williams spent over a decade as the Director of Psychiatry at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans developing their inpatient, outpatient, consult and emergency psychiatry programs and has had the privilege of not only providing clinical care but educating a wide variety of medical students, adult residents, pediatricians, neurologists and child fellows over his career.
He has enjoyed lecturing throughout the state and has completed board certifications in Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.
