Dental Hygienist

Life Coast Community Health Center is expanding dental services in Thibodaux and is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role is an opportunity to serve a community-focused health center dedicated to providing accessible, quality care for patients across the region.

Responsibilities

The Dental Hygienist will perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients of all ages. This position will also assist with dental screenings, document patient records accurately within the electronic health record system, and coordinate with the dental team on patient treatment plans. The Dental Hygienist will educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care while helping maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary clinical environment in compliance with infection control standards.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an active Louisiana Dental Hygienist license in good standing and an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. CPR/BLS certification is required. Strong communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and a patient-centered approach to care are important for this role. Experience in a clinical or community health setting is preferred.
