The receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting daily front office operations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate communication, and a positive experience from check-in to check-out.
Job Description
Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
Verify patient information and insurance details
Collect co-pays and process payments when needed
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed
Coordinate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and welcoming
Handle incoming messages and route them appropriately
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office environment
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred but not required
