Access for Everyone

Accessibility Statement

Effective date: September 10, 2026

Life Coast Community Health Center is committed to serving patients of all abilities. We work to keep this website usable for people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, captions or other assistive technology.

The standard we follow

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our guide, and we consider the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.

What we do on this website

  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and empty alternatives for decorative ones.
  • Menus, search, dialogs and buttons that can be reached and operated with a keyboard.
  • Visible focus outlines so you can see where you are on the page.
  • Headings, landmarks and lists marked up so screen readers can move through the page.
  • Color and contrast choices intended to keep text readable, with color never used as the only signal.
  • Layouts that work on phones, tablets and computers, with tap targets sized for touch.

Accessibility in our clinics

If you need an accommodation for your visit, such as an interpreter or help with forms, please tell our staff when you call so we can prepare. Free language assistance is described on our Nondiscrimination and Language Assistance page.

Report a problem

If any part of this website is difficult to use, or if you need information from this site in another format, call our Thibodaux clinic at 985-492-6170. Please tell us the page address and what happened so we can help you right away and correct the issue.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the website as we add pages and features, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.
